Carbide Rolls for Rolling Mills – Engineered to Improve Quality, Reduce Downtime, and Maximize Output
Sanwu offers solid carbide rolls and composite rolls, including three-dimensional rolls, pinch rolls, thread rolls, block mill rolls, sizing stand rolls, finishing rolls, PFM rolls, and more. We supply sintered roll rings (diameters up to 450 and thicknesses up to 250 mm), semi-finished rolls with ground inner diameters, or fully finished rolls.
Solid Carbide Rolls
Sanwu’s solid carbide rolls can be WC-Co alloys or the corrosion resistant alloys with a mixed binder Co-Ni-Cr. They are widely used for guiding or straightening high-speed wire rod, bar, rebar, and seamless steel tubes. Our solid carbide rolls last up to 50 times longer than conventional hardened tool steel rolls.
Composite Rolls
The composite rolls from Sanwu combine steel/iron shafts and carbide rings by mechanical fixing or cast in carbide (CIC). The robust design makes them much suitable for use in high rolling torque and low rolling speeds, in the intermediate and finishing sections of rolling wire, round steel, ribbed steel, square steel, flat steel, angle steel and other profiles.
